This is the first I've heard of Stevia - is it an herb?

Yeah an herb - I planted some seeds a few weeks ago and its growing great in my garden. I usually buy it from the health food store but it seems easy to grow

There was a call for recommendations for this board in one of the other posts, and I was just going to say that there doesn't seem to useful or new information here - but then I see this thread and this is something new to me - so thanks! and I will look for this.

hmmm... I'd like to know more about stevia.. But I prefer honey when compared with sugar... Honey is more healthy and good in taste also.. But I see people here prefer stevia.. I am curious to learn more..

Well I may sound a little lousy but I use regular sugar to sweaten my tea. I dont like the taste of honey very much and stevia is a new word for me. Is there any online store where I could purchase it from? I could give it a try..
