Just curious - how did you become interested in green tea?

I started to drink a lot of tea in school. I noticed that I preformed better on tests after drinking tea. There was something I liked about tea, but I never really understood it. I tried EVERY tea available in my local area, trying to find the best. Just this year, I've discovered green tea on the internet and I've ordered a few times. Good quality green tea is a TOTALLY different experience

Now I'm drinking a lot because it tastes so good, it's good for me, I like to brew it, it makes me feel more focused and several other reasons.

There's something about good tea that leads me to belive that it's one of the finer experiences of life.

I agree with you that green tea very special. I should qualify that and say that good green tea is special - I first had it as tea bag tea from the supermarket - I thought it was terrible (and I guess it was )

Since exploring the world of fine Japanese green tea I wonder why anyone would even buy green tea in tea bags - although I know its popular becuase of its health benefits - but tea bag tea is so inferior that probably even the health benefits are lost...
