Nice to see some new topics listed here. I'll break in this one.

My favorite black teas - I love Earl Grey - it was one of the first "specialty" teas I had when I first became interested in tea. I also love the black tea from China - a good Lapsang Souchong keeps me interested for hours. And good Darjeeling is one of the joys of life -

My fav is teas from darjeeling. It simple has no comparison.. I love the way it drains the stress out of body.. I take 2-3 cups of darjeeling tea everyday.

By the way I havent tried earl grey yet.. I've heard a lot abt it and will be giving it a try soon.

Do you have a favorite darjeeling? The estate teas are marvellous, but apprarently there's lots of 'mislabelled' darjeelings of inferior quality...

Yes be careful about that. Some "darjeeling" tea may only have 50% or less actual darjeeling leaves.

Yes that's very unfortunate because many people will try a so-called darjeeling and wonder what the fuss is about. All of the estate darjeelings that I've tried have been superb and worthy of the name "champagne of teas."

Earl Grey is a blend that probably has a fair portion of Darjeeling (at least the good blends) so I think you would like it tea freak...
