I found something called GABA tea at this website: www.allgabatea.com and want to knwo if anyone knows anything about this.

It sounds like a wonder drink but if it's so great why haven't I heard anything about it before?

Hi Dotty,

Welcome to the board. I checked out the website and its got lots of info about the health benefits. If its so great why don't we hear more about it?

If you buy some online would you mind posting a review - We're going to set up a section of the forum for tea reviews.

I've tried GABA tea - in fact I drink it every day. I like it a lot and I feel more "fit" since I've been drinking it - about 3 months now.

Its got an unusual taste - different from any other tea I've had but the taste grows on you. I buy it direct from Taiwan - the link is www.teafromtaiwan.com/pid_83.htm

Wow - I checked out the links on this thread and must say that gaba tea sounds interesting. Are these health claims marketing ploys or is there anything behind them. I see a lot of information about gaba pills when I google gaba but not much about gaba tea.

exBart - what inspired you to try this?

We've been looking into this GABA tea and it seems to be quite interesting in terms of health benefits. We've placed an order from a website allgabatea.com and will post an article when it arrrives.

A friend of mine served me some gaba tea a few days ago. The first sip was kind of strange - quite a strong taste that wasn't lke any tea I've had before.

But it grew on me...I had a second cup.
