I think that we need to support Fair Trade practices so that these tea gardens share profits and provide a decent living for their workers.

If consumers insist on fair trade teas it can help the tea workers by forcing tea companies to adapt fair trade practices.

Fair trade organizations guarantee a fair minimum price for tea so that tea gardens are not forced to sell below the cost of production.
