Pink Tea Anyone? 1 Year, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello Every Body,

I am here to discuss a new topic here today. Has anyone heard of pink tea till today? Probably not.. But you definitely must have heard about green tea. Pink tea is nothing but green tea mixed with milk. But it comes along with all the natural richness and goodness and green tea and is an excellent drink when the weather is cold outside.

Any Comments?

Yes - is this your own invention? I've never heard of pink tea before, and never heard of adding milk to green tea. It seems kind of ... sacreligious ...

Tea Man, this certainly is not my own invention. This tea is drunk very happily in Kashmir and northern areas of the south east Asia.. Its has a very refreshing taste and is the most favourable drink in winter season.

OK I'm intrigued. It's just milk and green tea? Anything else? Any particular kind of green tea?

Well the green tea leaves used with milk is slightly stronger than the regular green tea. When you boil the leaves, the liquid attains a sligh reddish tingue. Thus when milk is added it acquires a pleasant pink colour and is thus called pink tea.
